I know what you are thinking: they are preschoolers for Pete’s sake! They do not even know what I will be saying on their graduation day. Well, if you are one of those people who think that a speech for the graduation of preschoolers – in the Montessori system for instance – is not a priority, well you are not in a minority group. The only problem is that you are in a wrong majority. A graduation speech is as important for preschoolers as it is important for the Doctorates. All that is different is that it is a different age bracket that is graduating.

For instance the subject matter of the graduation might be different from preschoolers to grown ups. In an adult graduation setting , you would not doubt have to make some mention on the life ahead and hit on such areas as getting a job and settling down. However for the preschoolers, you will be basically doing the same thing – talking about the life ahead – but the only difference is that you will be talking to them on the facts they will begin to face as the enroll into school for the first time. Whatever you do, however, do not let your speech wear on and bore the crap out of the people.
