Without any shred of doubt, I know that the quality of teaching a teacher give to the students determine the educational level of a given school. Most people often wonder how a teacher can correct a weak educational tendency in a classroom. The key lies in the training of the teachers themselves. I have discovered that a teacher should be able to impact the quality of a classroom, and he stands better chances of making the most impact at the onset – before hardest and rigid unhealthy patterns of behavior set in. There is now substantial evidence to suggest that the teachers themselves are the biggest factors that determine the level at which the educational level will be rated. Therefore, the teacher has to make the right plans so he can perform at his best and boost the educational quality of his school.
How do I become the Perfect teacher/
It is common practice for the educational policy makers to write out educational programs and schemes of work for the students to be taught and hand them down to the teachers who would then have to implement them. Later, teacher training programs came up to substitute the policy makers thinkings. This way, the teachers were trained on how to teach the students. However, the problem with this new improvement was that it created new techniques that the teachers were forced to implement. This did not create the expected efficiency and quality boost, but instead, make the teachers more pressurized.
Various analysts have made studies on really good teachers and have come to the expected conclusion that their means of teaching and methods are very different from teacher to teacher. However they found one constant thing among them, and that is the fact that they believe that every student can be taught, provided they are given the right motivation to do so. In addition to this, they also treat the students with respect and expect them to reciprocate with high performance.
I agree with the general conjecture that such belief are also taught in the teacher training classes, but if the teachers are not inspired to believe them, they will never measure up to the outstanding teachers who actively believe in these principles. Therefore, any one who believes he can bring about quality in a place where there is not quality is only joking.
A teacher should be ready to make some changes in their pattern of thinking. This is where the trainers get it all wrong. They think they can hand out programs or share tools for the right thinking habits. The truth is that no one else cha make a decisive change to the thinking of the teachers apart from the teachers themselves. Programs nowadays should be able to make impact in the mental processes and beliefs of the teachers before we can consider other improvement training that will have the end result of improving the students.
As we are all aware, we have to start from the grassroots before we can get to the top.
